2017 - Cracked the Top 50 for the first time in 2017, finishing as Germany?s No.3 behind Goerges and Kerber, of seven women in the year-end Top 100 (also Barthel, Witthoeft, Siegemund and Petkovic); one of the biggest rankings movers on tour in 2017, jumping 69 spots from No.115 in 2016 to career-high No.46; reached first career WTA semifinal at Qu‚bec City (l. eventual champion Van Uytvanck); also made three quarterfinal appearances at international events; reached 2r at three of four majors for first time in career ? Roland Garros, Wimbledon and US Open.
